Beef Fajitas - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. skirt steak, trimmed
    2 medium onions, cut into rings
    2 medium green peppers, cut into strips
    2 Tbsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. cumin
    1 can Dr. Pepper
    1 Tbsp. salt
    1 clove garlic, crushed
    6 oz. lemon juice
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 Tbsp. oil (vegetable)
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients except steak and garlic.
    Rub steak with garlic, then add to marinade mixture.
    Let set, covered, for 1 hour.
    Drain steak and grill with high heat.
    Cook, turning meat every 30 seconds until medium rare.
    Remove and set aside.
    Grill onions and peppers with 1 tablespoon oil in large frying pan until slightly tender.
    Slice steak into 1/2-inch strips across the grain.
    Add to onions and peppers; cook for 5 minutes more adding 1/4 cup of marinade to decarmelize pan.
    Serve with hot flour tortillas, cheese, lettuce, diced tomato, sour cream and salsa.
