Butter Flake Pie Crust - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sifted all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. sugar
1/4 c. vegetable shortening
1/4 c. butter
3 to 4 Tbsp. cold water
Preparation

Sift flour, salt and sugar into bowl.
Cut in butter and shortening with a fork or pastry blender until mixture is consistency of corn meal.
Sprinkle water over mixture, a tablespoon at a time.
Mix lightly with a fork until pastry holds together and leaves sides of bowl clear.
Chill 1/2 hour.
