Christmas White Fudge - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. white corn syrup
2 Tbsp. butter
1/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. quartered red and green candied cherries
1 c. coarsely chopped nuts
Preparation

Combine sugar, sour cream, syrup, butter and salt in saucepan. Bring to
a boil slowly, stirring until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring (cover saucepan) for 3 minutes over medium heat to 236\u00b0 on candy thermometer or soft ball stage. Remove from heat. Let stand 15 minutes.
Do not stir.
Add vanilla. Beat until mixture starts to lose gloss or for about 8 minutes.
Stir in cherries and nuts.
Pour quickly into greased shallow pan (9 x 9-inch).
Cool and cut into squares.
