Grandmother Pieper'S Orange Sherbet - cooking recipe
Ingredients

grated peel of 1 orange
juice of 2 oranges
juice of 1 lemon
1 c. pineapple juice
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 qt. half and half
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Combine all ingredients.
Freeze in an ice cream freezer according to manufacturer's instructions.
Makes 2 quarts. Contains about 160 calories per 1/2 cup.
It's rich and creamy.
