Holiday Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small pkg. lemon flavored jello
    1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
    2 1/2 c. boiling water
    2 c. chopped apples
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
    1/4 c. milk
Preparation
    Dissolve jello and candies in boiling water; stir in remaining ingredients except for cream cheese and milk.
    Pour into square (approximately 6 x 6-inch) dish.
    Chill until firm.
    Beat cream cheese with milk to spreading consistency.
    Spread over top. Chill and cut into squares.
