Cherry Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can pie cherries
    3/4 c. sugar
    3 to 4 Tbsp. flour
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1/4 tsp. almond extract
Preparation
    Mix sugar and flour together; add to cherries.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened.
    Take off heat and add 1 tablespoon butter and 1/4 teaspoon almond extract.
    Let cool.
    Fill medium sized tart shells and top with whipped cream.
