Peanut Brittle(Microwave High Setting) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. raw peanuts
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. white corn syrup
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. butter (or oleo)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Stir
    together peanuts, sugar,\tsyrup
    and
    salt
    in
    a 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Place in oven
    and
    cook
    for
    7
    to 8 minutes, stirring well after
    4 minutes.
    After 8 minutes, add butter and vanilla, blending
    well.
    Return
    to
    oven and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
    Peanuts will be lightly browned and syrup very hot.
    Remove from oven
    and
    add soda.
    Gently stir until light and foamy.\tPour
    mixture
    onto
    lightly
    greased cookie sheet. Let cool for 1/2 to 1 hour.
    Break in small pieces and store in airtight container.
