Skillet Spaghetti - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. ground beef
    1 large onion, chopped (about 1 c.)
    1 (48 oz.) jar spaghetti sauce
    1 (7 oz.) pkg. thin spaghetti, broken into pieces
    1 (4 oz.) can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
    1/2 c. water
    1 Tbsp. sugar
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
Preparation
    Cook and stir ground beef and onion in 4-quart Dutch oven until meat is light brown; drain.
    Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese.
    Heat to boiling; reduce heat.
    Cover; simmer, stirring occasionally, until spaghetti is tender, about 25 minutes.
    Sprinkle with cheese.
