June'S Squash-A-Roni - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 medium yellow squash, cut into chunks
    1 bunch whole green onions, chopped
    1 lb. Velveeta cheese, diced
    1 box chicken flavored Rice-A-Roni
    1 to 2 chopped jalapenos (optional)
Preparation
    In boiling water, simmer squash for 5 minutes.
    Drain and return to pan.
    Add onions and cheese.
    Cover and set aside. Prepare Rice-A-Roni according to directions on box.
    Add to squash mixture.
    Butter a 13 x 9-inch pan and pour in mixture. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 25 minutes until lightly brown.
