Walnut Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. walnuts, chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding mix
    1 c. sour cream
    1 c. milk
    2 medium bananas, sliced
Preparation
    Combine sugar, walnuts and egg. Spread thinly on greased jelly roll pan.
    Bake in moderate oven for 18 to 20 minutes at 350\u00b0. Cool to room temperature and crush.
    Sprinkle half of crumbs in bottom of 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
    Combine pudding mix, sour cream and milk; beat on low speed of electric mixer 1 to 2 minutes.
    Fold in sliced bananas.
    Spoon over crumbs in pan; top with remaining crumbs.
    Chill several hours.
    Cut in squares.
    Serves 9.
