Broccoli Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
1 small onion, chopped (optional)
1/3 c. flour
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 1/2 tsp. chicken bouillon
2 c. water
1 c. milk
3 to 4 c. bite-size broccoli florets
1/4 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
1/2 c. (2 oz.) shredded Swiss cheese
Preparation

Melt butter in saucepan over low heat; add onions, if using, and let brown slightly. Blend in flour and seasonings. Gradually add water and milk. Cook, stirring constantly, until thickened slightly. Stir in broccoli. Simmer 10 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir in Worcestershire sauce. Add cheeses and stir until melted.
