Cherry Coffee Cake Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 can cherry pie filling

Preparation

Grease jelly roll pan.
Mix together sugar and butter.
Add next 4 ingredients and mix. Spread 2/3 of the batter in pan.
Pour cherry pie filling over batter. Spoon final 1/3 of the batter on top. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 35 minutes.
While warm, drizzle glaze made of 2 cups confectioners sugar and 4 tablespoons milk.
