Honeyed Harvest Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. oil (or less)
    1 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. honey
    2 Tbsp. vinegar
    1 Tbsp. caraway seed
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 lb. red cabbage, shredded
    2 c. peeled, diced apples
Preparation
    Heat oil in a large pot.
    Add onion and cook until tender. Stir in honey, vinegar, caraway seed and salt.
    Add cabbage and apples.
    Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until cabbage is tender, about 1 hour.
    Makes 4 to 6 servings.
