New England Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c cooked potatoes (cut up)
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 1/2 c chopped green pepper
4 strips raw bacon
1/4 c butter
3 pints chicken stock
1 1/2 c diced clams
1 1/2 c light cream
2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 c cornstarch-blend with 1/2 c water
Preparation

Simmer vegetables in bacon until they are translucent. Add seasonings, clams, melted butter. Bring heat to high, then add chicken stock, potatoes, and light cream. Bring to a boil, then thicken with cornstarch mixture.
