Danish Apple Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 c. shortening
    8 c. apples, sliced
    1 c. cornflakes cereal, crushed
    3/4 to 1 c. sugar
    1 egg yolk
    1 egg white
    milk
Preparation
    Combine flour and salt; cut in shortening.
    Beat egg yolk and add enough milk to make 2/3 cup liquid.
    Mix well.
    Stir in flour.
