Peanut Patties - cooking recipe

Ingredients

3 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 stick butter
dash of salt
dash of red cake coloring
3 c. peanuts
1 c. white syrup
1 Tbsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine in saucepan the sugar, water, peanuts and syrup. Bring to a boil.
Stir constantly.
Let boil 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and add butter, vanilla, salt and coloring.
Beat until creamy.
Drop by tablespoon onto greased foil.
