*Ravani 2 - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. sweet butter
    6 large eggs, separated
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. milk (warm)
    1 c. cream of wheat (quick type)
    1 c. sifted flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and vanilla.
    Beat thoroughly.
    Mix flour and farina and add, alternating with the milk.
    In a separate bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff and fold into the batter.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 11-inch pan. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes. Cool slightly.
    Pour room temperature syrup all over the cake, using only 2 2/3 cups syrup. Garnish with 1/2 cherry on the Ravani.
    Cut into squares or diamonds.
