Ingredients

1 gal. apple cider
4 cinnamon sticks
1 Tbsp. whole cloves
1 orange, sliced thin
1 lemon, sliced thin
3/4 c. sugar
Preparation

Put cider into a large kettle and add sugar and spices.
Heat to the boiling point, then reduce and add fruit slices.
Keep just below boiling point.
It will perfume your house for the holidays and be ready to serve guests.
