Maw Maw'S Macaroni And Cheese - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 oz. macaroni
    1/3 stick butter
    12 oz. sharp cheddar cheese, grated
    4 eggs
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Grease a 2 quart casserole dish.
    Cook macaroni according to package directions.
    Drain thoroughly.
    Pour macaroni back into pot and add butter.
    After butter melts, alternate layering macaroni and cheese in the greased dish, saving some cheese for the top of casserole.
    Beat together eggs, milk, and salt.
    Pour egg mixture over macaroni and cheese.
    Sprinkle remaining cheese over top.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 until set, about 45 minutes.
