Candied Yams - cooking recipe
Ingredients

6 medium size yams or sweet potatoes, cooked and peeled
1/3 c. butter or margarine
1/3 c. light brown sugar, firmly packed
1/4 tsp. salt
Preparation

Melt butter in skillet over low heat; blend in sugar and salt. Increase heat and bring to boiling; add potatoes and cook over medium heat, turning potatoes several times, about 20 minutes or until potatoes are well glazed and thoroughly heated. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
