Creamy Butter Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/4 c. butter or margarine
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 lb. confectioners sugar
    1/2 c. hot cream
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream the butter or margarine and salt in mixing bowl.
    Blend in the confectioners sugar alternately with 1/3 to 1/2 cup hot cream. Add the vanilla.
    Beat until creamy.
    Thin with cream, if necessary.
