Dirt Cups - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. cold milk
    1 pkg. (4 serving size) instant pudding chocolate flavor
    8 oz. container Cool Whip, thawed
    1 pkg. (16 oz.) chocolate sandwich cookies, crushed, divided
    8 to 10 paper or plastic cups (8 oz. size)
Preparation
    Pour 2 cups of cold milk into a medium mixing bowl.
    Add pudding mix.
    Beat with wire whisk until well blended, about 2 minutes.
    Let pudding stand 5 minutes.
    Stir Cool Whip and 1/2 of the crushed cookies into pudding very gently with rubber scraper until mixture is all the same color.
    Place about 1 tablespoon of reserved crushed cookies into bottom of each plastic or paper cup. Fill cups about 3/4 full with pudding mix.
    Top each cup with the rest of the crushed cookies.
    Refrigerate until set, about 1 hour.
