Spoon Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. dry yeast
    1/4 c. sugar
    1/4 c. solid shortening
    2 c. self-rising flour (sifted)
    3/4 c. hot water
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in hot water.
    Add sugar and shortening.
    Add flour.
    If your batter is too stiff, add a little more hot water. Let stand 15 minutes.
    Spoon onto a greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 450\u00b0 for 12 minutes.
    Serves 6 to 8.
