Best Ever Egg Nog - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    1 qt. milk
    1 qt. half and half
    rum (optional)
    3 Tbsp. vanilla
    1/2 gal. vanilla ice cream
Preparation
    Separate eggs.
    Put whites to the side. Beat yolks with sugar. Add milk and half and half.
    If desired, add rum to taste. Refrigerate for 3 hours.
    Just before serving, beat egg whites until stiff. Fold in whites and vanilla to mixture. Add ice cream in scoops.
    Let stand 10 to 15 minutes and then enjoy!
