Chili For A Crowd - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    15 lb. ground beef
    4 lb. chopped onion
    4 c. chopped celery
    1 c. soy sauce
    1 1/4 to 2 1/2 c. chili powder
    1 Tbsp. thyme
    1 Tbsp. oregano
    3 Tbsp. celery seed
    4 bay leaves
    5 gal. canned tomatoes
    5 gal. kidney beans
    2 gal. tomato juice
Preparation
    Brown meat with onion and celery.
    Add soy sauce and spices (vary chili powder according to how hot you like it), mix well. Then add tomatoes, beans, tomato juice and salt to taste.
    Simmer mixture for 2 hours.
    Add water if it becomes to thick.
    Serves approximately 230.
