English Toffee - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. butter
    3 small plain Hershey bars
    1 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. chopped nuts
    3 tsp. water
Preparation
    Place all ingredients except Hershey bars and nuts in a saucepan and cook until brown, about 10 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
    Pour into buttered fudge pan.
    Lay Hershey bars across top of hot mass and spread.
    Sprinkle with nuts.
    Cool and then break into pieces.
