Rice Krispie Balls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 1/4 sticks oleo
    1 pkg. pitted dates
    1 c. pecans
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Chop dates and pecans.
    Melt oleo in boiler; add sugar and dates.
    Simmer 10 to 12 minutes.
    Remove from heat and add cereal and nuts.
    Cool until soft balls can be formed.
    Roll in powdered sugar.
    Store in covered container.
    Very easy to make.
