Refrigerator Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. vanilla wafer crumbs
    1 1/2 c. powdered sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    2 eggs, well beaten
    1 c. cream, whipped
    3/4 c. pecans, chopped
    1 c. crushed pineapple, drained
Preparation
    Add beaten eggs to well creamed butter and sugar.
    Beat until fluffy.
    Place in bottom of pan a layer of vanilla wafer crumbs and pat firmly.
    Add the creamed mixture, pineapple, whipped cream and nuts.
    Add the remaining wafer crumbs.
    Refrigerate overnight. Serve with whipped cream and top with a cherry.
