Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. butter or margarine
    12 oz. pkg. herb dressing mix
    3 c. sliced, cooked squash, drained
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can cream of mushroom or chicken soup
    1 c. sour cream
    1 large onion, grated
    3 large carrots, grated
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
Preparation
    Melt butter and toss with dressing mix.
    Mix half of dressing mixture with squash, soup, sour cream, onions, carrots and pepper. Turn mixture into lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish and spread evenly.
    Sprinkle remaining dressing.
    Mix over all. Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 45 to 55 minutes.
