Tea Cakes - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup shortening
    1 cup sugar
    1 egg
    1/4 cup milk
    2 1/2 cup flour
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Cream shortening and sugar together.
    Add eggs and mix well. Add milk and vanilla.
    Stir in flour, baking powder and salt that have been sifted together;
    Mix well.
    Roll out and cut in desired shapes.
    Bake at 400 degrees for 7-10 minutes.
