Shrimp & Chicken Gumbo - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 Tbsp shortening
    4 Tbsp flour
    1 large onion, chopped
    1 bell pepper, chopped
    2 celery stalks, chopped
    28 oz can tomato sauce
    1 can water
    1 to 1 1/2 c okra sliced
    1 small garlic clove
    crab boil, to taste
    salt and pepper, to taste
    3 bay leaves
    1/4 c Thyme
    3 lb peeled shrimp
    3 chicken breast cooked and cubed
    chicken broth
Preparation
    Mix shortening and flour together to make a paste. Add the rest of ingredients in a large pot. Cook on medium to low heat until hot. Serve over rice.
