Grandma'S Mahogany Chiffon - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. boiling water
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 3/4 c. Gold Medal flour (sift if lumpy)
    1 2/3 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. oil
    7 unbeaten egg yolks
    2 tsp. vanilla
    7 egg whites (beat with 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar)
Preparation
    Baking Temperature: 325\u00b0 and 350\u00b0.
    Baking Time: 55 minutes and 10 minutes until done.
