Cheesy Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. tomato sauce (8 oz.)
    1 c. diced American cheese
    1/4 tsp. dried crushed thyme
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    dash of black pepper
    1/4 c. chopped peppers
    2 beaten eggs
    1 c. soft bread crumbs
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In saucepan, cook onion and green pepper in boiling water until tender; drain.
    Stir in tomato sauce, eggs, cheese, bread crumbs, thyme, 1 teaspoon salt and dash of pepper.
    Add ground beef and pork, mixing well.
    Shape into loaf in baking dish.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves 8 to 10.
