Chocolate Sheet Cake (Texas Sheet Cake) - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
1/2 c. buttermilk or sour milk
1 tsp. soda
2 sticks oleo or butter
1 c. water
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Mix flour, cocoa and sugar in bowl.
Bring oleo and water to a boil.
Add flour mixture; add eggs, vanilla and buttermilk.
Mix well.
Pour in an 11 x 17 x 1-inch greased and floured pan (cookie sheet).
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 20 minutes.
