Grandma'S Applesauce Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 c. shortening
2 c. sugar
2 c. applesauce
1 c. raisins
3 1/2 c. flour
3 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. walnuts
1 pinch salt

Preparation

Cream shortening and sugar together.
Add applesauce and raisins.
Sift flour, soda, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg together. Add to other ingredients and walnuts.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
