Ingredients

1 c. milk
1/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. butter
1/2 c. warm water
1 pkg. yeast
2 eggs, beaten
3 1/4 to 3 1/2 c. flour (enough for soft dough)
Preparation

Scald milk.
Add sugar, salt and butter.
Cool.
Dissolve yeast in water.
Mix all ingredients; knead.
Let rise until fully double in size.
Roll out 1/2-inch thick; cut out.
Let rise for 1 hour and deep fry.
