Christmas Brunch Strata(Perfect - It Is Prepared The Day Before!) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 slices bread (remove crusts, if desired)
    3/4 lb. sharp Cheddar cheese, grated
    1 pkg. frozen, chopped broccoli, cooked and drained
    2 c. diced, cooked ham
    6 slightly beaten eggs
    3 1/2 c. milk
    2 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. dry mustard
    sesame seed
Preparation
    Place 6 slices of bread in bottom of a 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Reserve 1/2 cup cheese, then sprinkle remainder over the bread.
    Add a layer of broccoli, then a layer of ham.
    Layer remaining bread on top. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over bread and all. Top with sesame seed. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight.
