Old State Ham And Noodle Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 tsp. salt
    2 Tbsp. butter
    4 oz. medium noodles
    1/4 c. chopped onion
    3 c. boiling water
    1/4 c. chopped green pepper
    1 1/4 c. diced ham
    1 (10 1/2 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. chopped pimiento
    dash of pepper
    1/2 c. grated American cheese
Preparation
    Add salt and noodles to boiling water; boil rapidly, stirring constantly for 2 minutes.
    Cover; remove from heat and let stand for 5 minutes.
    Melt butter in a saucepan and add onion and green pepper.
    Cook for 5 minutes.
    Add ham and cook a few minutes longer.
    Rinse noodles.
    Heat soup and milk together until smooth. Combine ham mixture, soup, pimiento and pepper with noodles.
    Pour into a greased 1-quart casserole.
    Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in a moderate oven (375\u00b0) for 20 minutes.
