Roast Opossum - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 possum
salt
pepper
1 medium onion, diced
1 medium apple, diced
1 stalk celery, diced
4 strips bacon
1 c. seasoned bread cubes
1 egg, beaten
Preparation

Roast opposum is good when baked with sassafras twigs when that spicy bush is close by.
Rub the meat with salt and pepper inside and out and stick lots of sassafras twigs into the outside. Roast, uncovered, at 300\u00b0, half hour for every pound of meat.
