Sauce For Yellow Or White Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 c. sugar
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Melt margarine in large skillet.
    Add flour and sugar that have been mixed together.
    Cook until brown and hard (do not let mixture burn).
    Add milk and cook, stirring constantly until all sugar mixture is dissolved.
    Let cool.
    Add vanilla.
    Use as sauce on cake.
