Punch Bowl Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 yellow cake mix
    3 (8 oz.) containers Cool Whip
    2 small boxes vanilla instant pudding
    1 large can fruit cocktail, drained
    1 large box strawberry or cherry jello (mold)
    fruit for topping (in season)
Preparation
    Bake cake in 9 x 13-inch pan or 2 (8-inch) round pans.
    Slice to form 4 thin slices.
    Prepare pudding and jello according to package directions.
    Layer ingredients in punch bowl. Refrigerate.
    If a hole in punch bowl, fill with fruit first.
