Microwave Chicken A La King - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 Tbsp. margarine, divided
    2 Tbsp. flour
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 c. chicken broth
    1/2 c. heavy cream
    1/2 c. frozen peas, thawed
    8 drops hot pepper sauce
    1 tsp. coarse salt
    2 c. cooked chicken or turkey, cut into small pieces (warm or room temperature)
Preparation
    Melt 2 tablespoons of margarine in large casserole dish. Whisk in flour. Add onion. Microcook (100%) uncovered for 3 minutes.
    Add 1/2 cup broth.
    Whisk until smooth.
    Whisk in remaining 1/2 cup broth and heavy cream.
    Stir in peas.
    Microcook (100%) uncovered for 8 minutes, whisking several times.
    Add pepper sauce, remaining 2 tablespoons margarine and salt. Stir until margarine melts. Add chicken. Serve over mashed potatoes, rice or toast.
    Serves 4.
