Catfish Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. cooked and boned fish
    3 medium onions, chopped
    5 medium potatoes, chopped
    1/2 c. chopped celery
    3 Tbsp. butter
    4 strips crisp bacon
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cook fish until tender in 1 1/2 cups water.
    Add bacon, broken into
    small
    pieces, add butter and let simmer.
    Saute celery and
    onions in 2 tablespoons butter.
    Add cooked potatoes
    and simmer all until serving time.
    Serve on crisp toast points.
    Good with tart apple salad.
