Funnel Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/3 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    2/3 c. milk
    1 egg
    1 qt. cooking oil
    powdered sugar
Preparation
    Measure flour, sugar, salt and baking powder; blend ingredients with a fork.
    Add oil to pan 2-inches deep and heat to 375\u00b0.
    Break egg into bowl and add 2/3 cup milk.
    Beat lightly. Add dry ingredients to egg and milk; beat until smooth.
    Take funnel and hold finger over spout.
    Spoon batter into funnel. Drop batter into frying pan.
    Each cake should be about 3-inches wide.
    Fry cakes until golden brown.
    Drain; dust with powdered sugar.
