Strawberry Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 large pkg. strawberry Jell-O
2 c. boiling water
2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries
1 1/2 c. applesauce
1/2 c. cold water

Preparation

Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water.
Add frozen strawberries, partly thawed.
Stir in 1 1/2 cups applesauce and 1/2 cup water used to rinse out can.
Put in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Put Cool Whip on top.
