Paprika Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    7 tsp. shortening
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    2 1/2 tsp. paprika
    4 1/2 to 5 lb. chicken
    salt
    1 c. green pepper
    1 medium tomato
    1/4 c. flour
    1 1/4 c. sour cream
Preparation
    Heat shortening in large skillet, saute onion until light yellow.
    Stir in paprika over reduced heat.
    Add meat and salt, browning meat while stirring.
    When meat is well browned, add a small amount of water or stock.
    Simmer, do not boil!
    When meat is almost tender, add chopped green pepper and tomato.
    Mix flour and sour cream together and thicken the gravy of the paprikas.
    Serve with small dumpling or rice or boiled potatoes.
