Green Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. green apples
2 c. molasses
2 c. sugar
1 c. butter
3 eggs
2 c. milk
6 c. flour
1 tsp. each suitable spices
2 tsp. soda
1 c. raisins

Preparation

Slice apples and boil in the 2 cups of molasses.
Cook this away to 1/2 the quantity.
Cream the butter and sugar together and add eggs and milk.
Sift flour with spices and soda.
Add to this the raisins.
Add apples last.
Mix thoroughly.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 50 minutes (time approximate, check often).
Use 2 loaf pans. This cake will keep for 1 month.
