Pecan Chewies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. margarine, softened
    1 (16 oz.) box brown sugar (light or dark)
    1 1/2 c. self-rising flour
    3 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Cream margarine and sugar until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
    Add flour and blend well.
    Stir in vanilla and pecans.
    Pour into greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
    (It's done when toothpick inserted comes out clean.)
