Creamy Clam Chowder - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 cans minced clams
1 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced celery
3 c. diced potatoes
3/4 c. butter
3/4 c. flour
1 qt. half and half cream
1 1/2 tsp. salt
water
1 1/2 tsp. sugar
pepper to taste
Preparation
-
Drain clams, reserving juice.
Place onion, celery and potatoes in large saucepan.
Add reserved clam juice.
Add water to cover.
Cover and simmer over low heat 20 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
Do not drain.
