Cindy'S Sweet-N-Sour Steak - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 to 2 lb. round steak
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    8 oz. and 3 Tbsp. water
    4 Tbsp. soy sauce
    1/2 tsp. garlic
    1/3 c. celery
    1/3 c. green peppers
    1 medium to large onion
    1 (20 oz.) can chunk pineapple (unsweetened)
    1/4 c. light Karo syrup
    1/4 c. white vinegar
    3 Tbsp. cornstarch
Preparation
    Heat oil in medium to hot skillet; add steak, cut into thin strips, and brown on all sides, stirring frequently.
    Lower heat; add celery and green peppers, cut into thin strips, and onion. Cook until celery is tender, but crunchy.
    Add pineapple, syrup, vinegar and 8 ounces water.
    Heat until bubbling.
    Mix cornstarch with 3 tablespoons water; pour into bubbling mix and stir until desired thickness.
    Pour over rice or noodles.
